Freedom and Family: The Moment That Changed Everything

The iHOPE Project is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping citizens who are wrongfully imprisoned overseas. We serve as advocates, navigators, and bridges of hope—committed to standing in the gap for those unjustly detained and the families who are left behind.

Our Mission

To advocate for wrongfully imprisoned citizens abroad, support their families through the legal and emotional challenges, and provide resources that help returning citizens successfully rebuild their lives.

What We Do

  • Legal Navigation & Advocacy:

We assist families and legal teams in navigating complex international legal systems, working to expedite the release process for wrongfully imprisoned citizens.

  • Family Support Services:

We provide emotional support, resources, and guidance to families facing the trauma of international incarceration of a loved one.

  • Reentry & Reintegration:

Once an individual is freed, we help secure safe housing, job opportunities, and mental wellness support to ensure a stable transition back into society.

Why It Matters

Wrongful imprisonment abroad is a deeply traumatic and life-altering experience—not only for the individual detained but also for their families and communities. The iHOPE Project exists to be a lifeline in the darkest moments, offering advocacy, accountability, and action to bring people home—and help them heal.
